Forms: Signals/slots Issues

 by jstaniek
  • Signals/slots mechanism is (a little) hard to use for average folks
  • It may be easily simplified to avoid confusing them, by using something similar to Visual Basic, ie automatic event handlers when you choose an event (ie if you choose PressEvent, we create a Widget::PressEvent() function that automatically gets connected to the good signal)
  • TrollTech would try to get influence on the Kexi Project because of violating their licenses, if liked to expose all their technologies so plainly (at least commercial) license mentions that there cannot be a project that is a replacement of the Qt developed out of the Qt)
  • It wouldn't hurt to ask them, as well.
